Why does Apple still make iPods if the iPhone can do literally everything an iPod can and more?

I personally think iPods still exist because they are a great option for a gift.

I agree that iPhones can do everything that iPods can, and do it even better. iPods nowadays have the option to come with as much storage as iPhones do, so it’s not even logical for adults to buy as separate music players, as their phones may have more.

iPods nowadays are usually bought for kids who aren’t yet old enough to own a phone. It’s a great multimedia device for kids. Besides music, they can also have access to all the iOS apps from the App Store.

Another way it’s a great fit for kids is by its size and price. Its much smaller form-factor makes it easier for kids to use with one hand. Although most of them nowadays have iPads, some still might want something smaller that they can take to school with them.

One may also consider a nice used iPhone SE which is capable of running latest operating system and can also be used to make FaceTime calls over WiFi. That are now available around $100 or less.

price-wise iPods start at $199,so it's quite affordable.The price makes it a great option for gifts to your nieces and nephews.
