Now Google accepts this program as its own use and integrates it into the latest version of the Google Fit mobile phone program, but at this stage it is only open to users of Pixel phones.
Google said that by placing a finger on the main lens on the back of the Pixel phone to measure the heart rate, the error rate is only about 2%. In addition, Google Fit also provides a breathing rate measurement function.
The trigger is to point the camera of the phone at the head and chest position, and then wait for about 30 seconds. The phone will calculate the user's breathing rate by recognizing the amplitude of the chest rise and fall.
The two new Google Fit features have been opened to Pixel mobile phone users on March 8th, US time, and are expected to be provided to other Android phones in the future, but Google has not disclosed specific timetables and arrangements.
