Samsung's Galaxy S21 series are selling well globally, successfully surpassing Apple's sales ranking first
Competition in the mobile phone market is fierce, and major mobile phone manufacturers have made moves to seize market share. Samsung (Samsung) launched the Galaxy S21 flagship series of mobile phones ahead of schedule in January this year.
Its product sales have grown strongly, and it surpassed Apple in February this year and successfully regained the throne of the smartphone market.
According to South Korean media reports, market research firm Strategy Analytics released data showing that Samsung had a global market share of 23.1% in February this year, with a total of 24 million mobile phones sold, and its sales increased by 26% compared with the same month last year.
In addition, Apple’s iPhone’s global sales rose 74% from the same month last year, with 23 million units sold, with a market share of 22.2%, ranking second. In addition, Xiaomi’s global market share reached 11.5%, Vivo’s market share was 10.6%, and OPPO’s market share was 8.5%.
This time, Samsung won the global smartphone sales champion because the company launched the Galaxy S21 series ahead of schedule this year to constrain the sales of iPhone12 mobile phones. Samsung benefited from the sales growth of the Galaxy S21 series and successfully defeated Apple with a market share gap of less than 1%.
The report also pointed out that Apple maintained its leading position in mobile phone sales from October to December last year and January this year. During January 2021, Apple's global market share was 25.4%, while Samsung was only 15.6%. The gap between the two parties' market share was close to 10 percentage points.
