The Huawei Developer Conference kicks off at the end of April to explain the upgrade arrangements for Harmony OS

A Chinese blogger recently revealed on Weibo that Huawei will hold its annual HDC developer conference from April 24 to 26. The theme of this conference will focus on cloud services and ecology, as well as Huawei's HMS ecology.


In addition, applications are expected The Hongmeng system for smartphones will also be officially unveiled at the HDC Developer Conference.


When the Mate X2 foldable mobile phone was released in February, Huawei once stated that it would push the Hongmeng system upgrade to flagship mobile phones starting in April this year. 


The mobile phones approved for upgrade include the Mate X2, Mate 40 and P40 series. As for the flagship phones of the P50 series, which may be released in May, they are the first batch of mobile phones with the Hongmeng system pre-loaded at the factory.


The blog that broke the news revealed that Huawei will explain the arrangements for upgrading Hongmeng on existing mobile phones at the HDC Developers Conference, which is expected to be provided in April. 


Earlier, there was news that all mobile phones with Kirin 710 or above processors can be upgraded; and the president of Huawei’s consumer software department said earlier that more than 90% of the models on the market can upgrade the Hongmeng system.
