It is the second-ever BAIC Alpha S (Huawei HI version) that uses Huawei's fast charging technology and has a battery life of 197 kilometers in 10 minutes. Huawei pointed out in the Alpha S teaser poster that the car is a new benchmark for global autonomous driving. Wang Jun revealed that Huawei's laser applications are abundant, capable of sensing long-distance small obstacles, tunnels, high-speed mobile vehicles, etc., and plans to continue to reduce the cost of lasers in the future.
In an interview with internal media, Wang Jun emphasized that Huawei currently does not consider building a car, but does not exclude cooperation with any car manufacturer. He revealed that in addition to BAIC Blue Valley, Huawei’s current customers include Guangzhou Automobile Group and Changan Automobile.
