Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the iPhone will be folded in 2023

Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst with unique insights into Apple products, wrote an article yesterday predicting that Apple will launch a foldable iPhone in 2023. 

Although the specific specifications and design are unclear, Guo Mingchi said that the flexible OLED panel of the iPhone folding machine will be exclusively supplied by Samsung, and the screen size will be 8 inches.

If Guo Mingchi's statement is true, although the iPhone folding machine will not be released until 2023, there have been rumors at the end of last year that Apple has appointed Foxconn to assist in the production of two different folding machine prototypes.

It is pointed out that Apple's two folding machine prototypes are similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. The former is a 7.6-inch tablet when it is spread out, and the latter has a long and narrow 6.7-inch flexible screen.

Guo Mingchi believes that at the present stage, foldable mobile phones mainly integrate mobile phones and tablets, but foldable design devices will further obscure the product classification of mobile phones, tablets and laptops in the future.
